The presentation will cover what growers should before getting into the medicinal herb business, cultural practices, equipment necessary for success, and market opportunities available in the region. The webinar will be presented by Dr. Jeanine Davis, Associate Professor and Extension Specialist and leader of the  NC Alternative Crops and Organics Production at NC State University. A question and answer period will follow.

This program is free and open to the public. The target audience is commercial growers or farmers of any size who are beginning to grow medicinal herbs commercially or considering incorporating medicinal herbs into their farm production.
