One of our favorite 4-H events is coming soon: the Yadkin County 4-H Holiday Food Show! Many of our 4-H’ers have shown an interest in cooking and this is a great way for them to practice this skill but also have a great time.
At this event, youth bring in their own homemade food creations and a festive table setting. They’ll also have a portion of a table decorated with a holiday theme. This is a super fun event where youth get to practice their cooking and public speaking skills and get to try everyone else’s yummy food.
All the youth have to do is sign up, bring their food and table settings/decorations, and have fun. This event is open to 4-H’ers ages 5–18 and will be held in the banquet room in our building. We will also have stations set up for youth of all ages to enjoy while others are being judged. All youth will receive a small prize for their efforts, and grand champion prizes will be awarded as well
The deadline to sign up for this event is Friday, November 14th, via this Google Form. A hard copy of the form can be provided upon request. We hope to see you there!
