The Option of “Or Current Resident” for Bulk Mailers

EIT has added two new output types to our contact database system. These output types include the phrase, “Or Current Resident” on the second line of the address. The new types are listed among the Output Type options as “Labels (Or Current Resident)” and “Envelope(Or Current Resident).”

You may notice that the phrase replaces the company name on the label, if there is also an individual’s name. The company name is still saved in the database and will display when the “Or Current Resident” phrase is not used.

This modification will serve to make our mailing lists compliant with USPS requirements for bulk mailings. Ancillary Service Endorsements may also be used (see above).
