In celebration of National Volunteer Week, N.C. Cooperative Extension of Yadkin County would like to take this time to express our gratitude for our wonderful volunteers.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who donate their time and talents to enrich the lives of others. One of the goals of N.C. Cooperative Extension is to help people implement research-based knowledge into daily practice. As a volunteer, you help us to extend this goal by seeking out ways to help support others throughout the entire county. This reach extends all the way from youth to adults. For all the planning, educating, fundraising, and more we are truly appreciative of your efforts. You display wholeheartedly the quote from Mrs. Audrey Hepburn, “As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.”
